- After your car is damaged, file a claim with your insurance company. Stay informed by asking questions about their process.
- Matthews Motor Company has an I-Car Gold Certified collision center where we can take care of your repairs. We also offer towing and rentals. We are here to help you at every step of your repair journey.

- After you've trusted us to fix your car and filed an insurance claim, Matthews or your insurance company will assess the damages and provide an initial estimate.
- Initial estimates may not reveal the full extent of the damage, and we may discover new damage once we start the repairs. We call these "supplements."
- If necessary, supplements can add to the cost and duration of repairs, as your insurance will need to approve of these new repairs, and parts will need to be ordered. It may take several days to get approval.

- Once all of the approvals from your insurance company are in place and all the necessary parts are ordered, we will begin the repair process.
- If you did not rent a vehicle when we first towed your car to our shop, you may still rent from us at any time. If supplements have added some unexpected delays, you're welcome to browse our rental fleet for a temporary ride.
- Depending on your insurance, rentals are typically covered 30 days. For repairs that exceed this time frame, we offer reduced-rate rentals.
- All deductibles are due at vehicle pickup. Insurance payments should be made out to Matthews Motor Company. Checks made out to you cannot be signed over directly and will have to go through your bank. We also accept payment with cash or card, which can be done over the phone. Credit card fees may apply.
- We extensively photograph your vehicle to ensure all damages related to your accident are repaired. Unrelated damages will not be included in repairs.
- We actively try to minimize delays, but they can be unavoidable. We will update you via text at (570) 659-5406 unless otherwise arranged.
